A Note from our Founder:

Hi,

I’m Telani Lasoleille, founder of The Cooperative Canine, and I know firsthand what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by your dog’s behavior. In 2001, I faced similar struggles with my own dog, who was reactive and fearful. Like you, I wanted a solution—something that would truly help my dog and bring peace to our lives. That journey led me to discover the power of science-based, force-free training, and it completely transformed my relationship with my dog. I’ve shared more about that journey here.

I’ve made it my mission to help other dog guardians experience that same transformation. Whether your dog is reactive, has trouble following cues, or just needs help mastering good manners, I’m here to provide the tools and guidance you need. My approach is grounded in compassion and backed by science, ensuring your dog’s well-being and progress every step of the way.

As a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and Behavior Consultant, I’ve dedicated my career to mastering the techniques that get results. I also hold a graduate certificate in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington, and I’m always learning more through conferences and seminars to bring you the best, most effective methods.
