I am a Fear Free certified, Red Cross Certified, and NAPPS certified Pet sitter, and I'm currently working on my PPAB dog training certification. When pet sitting, I strive to make your departure a fun staycation for your pet. When I'm training, my goal is to help clients and their pets build a loving, trusting, cooperative relationship. I love working with all dogs, but I am especially focused on helping dogs with anxiety and aggression to become more comfortable and confident. When I'm not focused on Cooperative Canine, I teach ESL, go to concerts, hike, swim, and read.

Laura has always been passionate about animals. When they had the opportunity to learn to train pets, they instinctively picked it up right away. Since then, they have become a Fear-Free certified pet sitter, a Professional Certified Trainer through PPAB, and are now on their way to becoming a Professional Certified Behavior Consultant. They have also studied the Living and Learning with Animals course by Susan Friedman, and are an AKC CGC evaluator. In their free time they enjoy drumming and fashion design.

I have Pet CPR & First Aid Training, plus currently working towards my Fear Free Pet Sitter Certification. I have a masters degree in Human Resource management from Middle Tennessee State University. I have experience with senior pet care, pets with disabilities, and administering medications for dogs and cats. I like to spend my time outside of the office taking my 8 year old blind pit mix for long walks or bingeing true crime documentaries. I have a passion for all animals and I truly love getting to know each pet I meet and making them my new best friend. I love and care for each pet as if they are my own.
